Mindful Pilates
Move with awareness. Strengthen your body. Come back to yourself.
Mindful Pilates brings together the principles of mat Pilates with breath, body awareness and conscious movement.
Rather than moving on autopilot or pushing your body to perform, you are invited to slow down, notice what you feel and move in a way that supports your body. The practice helps you develop strength, mobility, balance and a deeper connection with yourself.
As a qualified Polestar Pilates instructor, meditation teacher and trauma-trained psychosomatic therapist, I bring an embodied and compassionate approach to movement. My teaching is attentive and adaptable, with space to explore how each movement feels in your own body.
What to expect
Sessions may include gentle grounding, breath awareness, mindful movement and classical Pilates exercises adapted to your individual needs and experience.
Mindful Pilates can support you with:
-
Building core strength and stability
-
Improving mobility, balance and posture
-
Developing greater body awareness
-
Reconnecting with your body through movement
-
Finding more ease, confidence and enjoyment in moving
You do not need to be flexible, strong or experienced in Pilates. You are welcome to come as you are.
Individual sessions
One-to-one sessions offer a more personalised approach, shaped around your body, your needs and how you are feeling on the day.
They may be especially helpful if you are new to Pilates, returning to movement after a break or would like more individual guidance and support.
Group classes
My group classes combine strength and movement with mindful attention. They are welcoming and suitable for different levels, with options offered throughout the practice.
Workplaces, retreats and private groups
Mindful Pilates sessions can also be offered as part of retreats, workplace wellbeing programmes, community events and private group experiences.
